Combination of Laser and Thermal Sintering of Thermoelectric Ca 3 Co 4 O 9 Films

The manufacturing technology of thermoelectric materials is laborious and expensive often including complex time-intensive preparation steps. In this work, a laser sintering process the oxide-based material Ca3Co4O9 investigated. Samples based on spray-coated were prepared subsequently sintered under various parameters investigated in terms microstructure properties. Here, combination subsequent thermal proved to be promising concept for films. Laser can thus make great contribution improving processing materials, especially when films are applied that cannot pressure.
